I leave mine open under the flap when I am around town and just close it as needed for additional security. Most women wear the 1904 as a crossbody bag. Italian buttery washed lambskin leather in 'Milano Black'. This custom leather is made to our specifications in small batches. We work directly with the artisans. Each hide is wrapped with rope and washed to create an ultra soft hand with gentle folds and creases creating texture and depth.
