about jen webster
design engineer · maker
There is an inherent beauty in something made one at a time.
Jen is born and raised in Maine and has chosen to live with her husband in the Western Mountains of Maine to raise her family. In addition to working with R&T, her teenage children, hound dog and new kittens keeps her busy. Jen's strong design skills spill over to her custom jewelry work. Jen’s passion for sewing began as a child and has continued to grow as she enjoys the creative environment at Rough & Tumble. When asked what she likes most about developing bags for R&T. She explained how she loves the aesthetics of what she makes and the evolving nature of her work. She loves pushing the limits of what she makes and the challenge that each new design brings.
Jen is R&T's most prolific design engineer, working as the lead with Natasha on The Webster, The 1905, The Tiny Cinch, Vertical Zip Hobo and the so so perfect little Subway. Presently there are a few more very special projects on the board to be launched in SS / 19.
